Cy Kellett, host of the “Catholic Answers Live” radio program and a former editor of The Southern Cross, gave a talk on June 11 at the most recent installment of the Young Catholic Professionals (YCP) San Diego Chapter’s monthly Executive Speaker Series.
Kellett, seen holding the statue of St. Joseph the Worker that he was given in gratitude for his talk, was accompanied by Katie Price, vice president and director of operations for YCP San Diego, and Ryan Hagelin, YCP San Diego’s president.
YCP’s Executive Speaker Series is a free event, open to all young professionals in their 20s and 30s, and features a talk by a local Catholic on his/her faith and career. Free beer, wine and appetizers are available, as well as time for networking. The next installment of the Executive Speaker Series will take place at 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, at St. Brigid Parish in Pacific Beach.
YCP will also be hosting its quarterly Networking Happy Hour at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 23, at a location to be determined.
