Gracious God, everything that is good comes from You.
United to all the creation,
we raise to You a hymn of praise
through Your Son, Jesus Christ.

From one generation to the next,
the inhabitants of these lands
have proclaimed Your generosity.
Today, we too want to bless You
for our efforts and the work of our hands,
and for all the goods we have received from You.

Bless us and bless this food,
which today we share with thankful hearts.
Grant that, as one family gathered around this table,
we celebrate in peace and grow in unity,
and strengthen the bond of love which keeps us together.
Fill us with the joy to know
that You are in our midst.

Continue to enrich this soil and its fruits,
and allow us to manifest our love
in our desire for justice and peace,
and in our generous help to those in need,
especially to those whose families are far away.

Blessed are You, O Lord, for all these gifts,
now and forever.
Amen.
