SAN DIEGO — The Office of the Cardinal has announced the appointments of:
Father Bethrand Ujunwa from the Archdiocese of Owerri, Nigeria, as hospital chaplain in the South Bay Deanery (Paradise Valley Hospital, Sharp Chula Vista Hospital, and Scripps Mercy Hospital in Chula Vista), effective July 1.
Sean Embury, who will be ordained to the priesthood June 8, as associate pastor of Good Shepherd Parish, effective July 1.
With the permission of his provincial, Father Andrés Ernesto Torres, CJM, as associate pastor of St. Rose of Lima Parish, effective July 1.
With the permission of his provincial, Father Edgardo Jara, OFM, as pastor of Mission San Luis Rey Parish, effective Aug. 1.
With the permission of his provincial, Father Joseph Juracek, OFM, as associate pastor of Mission San Luis Rey Parish, effective Aug. 1.
With the permission of his provincial, Father Macario (More) Torres, OFM, as associate pastor of Mission San Luis Rey Parish, effective Aug. 1.
