SAN DIEGO — Cardinal Robert W. McElroy celebrated an all-school Mass Jan. 20 at Cristo Rey San Diego High School.

During his visit, the students presented him with his own Cristo Rey San Diego jacket, and the students and staff hosted a small reception for him and other guests.

This was Cardinal McElroy’s first time on campus since June 2021, when he celebrated Mass at the end of the school’s inaugural academic year.

Cristo Rey San Diego High School exclusively serves students of limited economic means.
